American Training School for Medical Professionals (ATSMP) was founded in 1998 by Professor Dante Joa, who had a vision to fill the need for a bilingual school offering training in Medical Programs and help its students to successfully attain a career in the health care field.
ATSMP accommodates students’ needs in a variety of ways. We offer day, evening and weekend classes for scheduling flexibility. We also have payment plans and maintain the lowest costs per program in the market.
In addition, since 2006 we have joined forces with state agencies such as the NJ Department of Labor and Workforce Development to help low income families eligible for TANF meet their educational goals and prepare them for prosperous careers in the healthcare field.
We have remained committed to being leaders and advocates for diverse populations and their life long learning needs. We customize our programs to provide a wide range of formats short-term courses, seminars, workshops, and symposiums to respond to the needs of adult learners. In addition, our staff and instructors are always available to help our students with their individual needs, including job placement assistance after they have graduated from our school.

- Certified Phlebotomy Technician
- Certified Advanced EKG Technician
- Certified Surgical Technologist
- IV Therapy Technician
- Certified Billing and Coding Specialist
- Certified Vascular Medical Sonographer
- Clinical Massage Therapy (768 hrs)
- Clinical Massage Therapy (1347hrs)
- Certification in First Aid
- Certification in CPR/BLS/AED
Our students go on to successful careers working in hospitals, clinics and Doctor’s offices as well as continue their education to further their careers.
