Requirements for our Medical Instructors
- Legal Status
- English Speaker
- Certified in the areas of Phlebotomy, Electrocardiogram, Emergency Procedures, I.V. Technician, Billing & Coding, and or Massage Therapy.
- National Certification in the areas mentioned above.
- University degree in the areas of Medicine, Bio-Analysis, Nursing (4years).
- University transcripts
- Registered Health Educator (RHA)
- Minimum of 1.5 years in each of the education fields mentioned above.
- Certified Health Instructor (CHI)
- Certified instructor by ( NCCT)
NOTE:
Registration/Certification by the NHA (National Health Association)
or
Registration/Certification by the AMT (American Medical Technologists)
or
Registration/certification by the NCMA (National Certification Medical Associstion)
How to become an ATSMP Instructor:
- Pass the Certified Health Educator program, as a student, with a 90%
- Pass the National exam (NHA)/(NCCT)/(AMT)/(NCMA) with a 90% or above. Massage Instructors must also pass the MLEx exam.
- Be selected as an instructor by the ATSMP board.
- Receive school instructed training for instructors.
